Alpha Chi has surrounded me with my best friends, that show me unconditional support and love everyday! I am so lucky to be in an organization that encourages me to be the best, and happiest version of myself. Our philanthropy gives me an opportunity to support women, often including their families in our community. This means the world to me, and sharing my passion for DVA with sisters is such a special experience and gift that Alpha Chi Omega has given me.

They say "Home is where your heart is" and to me that is Alpha Chi. I am unconditionally grateful to have found my home away from home here at UNCC. Joining alpha chi you are always surrounded by girls that want to make you a better version of yourself. Alpha chi will give you lifelong memories that you can cherish forever. Working with the safe alliance shelter and domestic violence awareness is also another reason why I joined alpha chi! I am thankful to to be a part of this life changing experience and to be able to give back to the community.

Alpha Chi has brought so many amazing people and experiences into my life! My older sister was an Alpha Chi at UNCC and seeing everything she gained from being apart of this chapter made me want to be apart of that too! I never would have met some of my closest friends or would have gotten involved in leadership positions if it wasn’t for this chapter.

I went Alpha Chi because of the amazing girls I met all throughout recruitment. They made me feel comfortable in my own skin and accepted me for who I am. I continuously feel love and support from all of my sisters, even the ones I am not as close with. Not only have a met my best friends, but Alpha Chi helps me donate time and energy towards domestic violence awareness which has become an important part of my life.

I have found myself in many places and positions due to what all this chapter has given me. It gave me strength, it gave me leadership, and it gave me a sisterhood that cannot be replaced. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be where I am today without Alpha Chi Omega, and I have Hera to thank everyday because of it
